Abstract:
【Objective】Correctly assessing the changes of soil pH and grasping the law of the spatial distribution of soil pH are the basis and prerequisite for the rational development and utilization of soil resources. 【Method】Kenli District, a typical county in the Yellow River Delta was selected as research area. The field spatial and temporal changes of soil pH from 2007 to 2016 were studied using GIS technology through field survey sampling. 【Result】The results showed that the degree of soil alkalization in most areas of Kenli District increased significantly, accounting for 87.48% of the total area of the study area. The area where the pH of the soil decreased was only 0.14% of the total study area, and it was located in Haojia town. The area where the pH value did not change accounted for 12.38%, mainly distributed in the southwest and southeast of the study area. The degree of soil alkalization in most study area increased significantly, accounting for 87.48%, of which 46.13% of the soil changed from alkaline soil to strongly alkaline soil. 【Conclusion】The reasons for the change of soil alkalization degree in different townships are diverse. Factors such as hydrogeological conditions, land use patterns, vegetation cover types, land improvement and utilization are closely related to the dynamics of soil alkalization.
