Abstract:
【Objective】The groundwater level in the coastal saline-alkaline soil area changes frequently, and the water and salt transport is complicated. The paper simulates the dynamic changes of groundwater depth and salinity in coastal areas, and explores the impact of changes in groundwater salinity and depth on the yield and quality of tomatoes.【Method】Using soil column to measure barrel experiment. The experiment prepared 3 kinds of NaCl solutions with concentration (0, 2, 4 g/L), and designed 3 kinds of buried depths of drainage pipes (90, 70, 50 cm) to simulate groundwater with different salinity and its buried depth. The yield and quality of tomatoes were measured, and the method of comprehensive principal component analysis was used to evaluate tomatoes【Result】The test results showed that: tomato yield, harvest index, average fruit weight and fruit color index (TCI) decreased significantly with the increase of groundwater salinity, and increased significantly with the increase of groundwater depth, these four indicators all reach the maximum value under 90/0 (groundwater depth/salinity) treatment. But vitamin C, soluble sugar, total acid and soluble solids content all increased significantly with the increase of groundwater salinity, and decreased significantly with the increase of groundwater depth. These four indicators reached the maximum under 50/4 treatment.【Conclusion】The results of the comprehensive principal component analysis show that the comprehensive quality of tomato performs better when the groundwater is relatively deep and the salinity is low, and the score is the highest under the 90/0 treatment.
