Abstract:
Abstract:【Background】This paper takes the Manas River basin as the research area, which is the largest oasis agricultural reclamation area in Xinjiang and the fourth largest irrigated agricultural area in China, with high development of soil and water resources. Manas river basin is located in the north slope of Tianshan Mountain, dry climate, low rainfall, evaporation, diverse terrain, water is more precious, research focus of many scholars for the deployment of the basin water resources utilization, the change of precipitation, runoff, land use and ecological value of research, and the study of the basin evaporation is also imperfect. Evapotranspiration is an indispensable part in the water cycle, which is closely related to the coordination of water and heat elements and the relative balance of energy. Especially in arid and semi-arid areas where mountain, oasis and desert coexist, the variation of evapotranspiration has a great impact on the natural ecology and human activities in the basin. In addition an in-depth understanding of the spatial and temporal characteristics of evaporation in the Manas River basin has important guiding significance for water-saving irrigation and agricultural production in this region.【Objective】The study of the spatial and temporal distribution pattern of evapotranspiration in the Manas River Basin in recent years will have important reference value for the water resources allocation and use, ecological environment construction and protection, social production and life in the Manas River Basin.【METhod】Taking the Manas River basin as the research area. Based on 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2018, five of the spatial resolution of 500 m MOD16 products and mETeorological data, with scales and seasonal scale respectively, analysis of the manas river basin ET time-space distribution characteristics and change tendency, reveals the variation characteristics of different land use types ET in the studied area, the analysis of the influence of temperature and precipitation of ET ,by means of mosaic, resample, grid calculation and linear regression, trend analyses and so on. It provides reference for the estimation of ecological water demand and rational allocation of water resources in this basin.【Result】The average ET value of the Manas River Basin for many years ranges from 16.08 to 598.77 mm/a. The average value of each season was 55.29 mm, 102.02 mm, 50.98 mm and 28.45 mm respectively. ET was the highest in summer, followed by spring and autumn, and the lowest in winter. The results of the research and analysis can indicate that the average evapotranspiration from different land uses is in order from woodland> water area> cultivated land> unused land> construction land> grassland. ET peaks in summer, followed by spring, autumn, and winter at least. The variation trend of evapotranspiration and precipitation is similar, and the correlation coefficient bETween them is 0.67, showing an overall trend of increase. There is a weak positive correlation bETween evapotranspiration and air temperature. 【Conclusion】Overall, showing significant spatial differences. the evapotranspiration trend is mainly manifested in summer led by evapotranspiration, and winter has a weaker effect on the annual evapotranspiration change trend. The overall distribution pattern is high in the middle, low in the south and north, high in the middle reaches of the basin, and low in the upper reaches.
