Abstract: |
[Objective] In order to evaluate the seepage before and after lining of channels scientifically and rationally, [Method] a case study from Xiaokaihe irrigation district in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, the effects of seepage before and after lining of typical channels in the irrigation area is tested by the hydrostatic method. [Result] The test results show that the infiltration strength decreases obviously, and the time of steady infiltration is longer after lining; Water saving potential of the channel is mainly influenced by soil permeability. [Conclusion] The application of the hydrostatic method in the canal seepage measurement can provide reference for the early stage of reconstruction in the irrigation area, and provide the data support for the water saving potential of the canal lining. |
