Abstract:
【Objective】The paper is to analyze the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of the ecological footprint of water resources along the Yellow River, so as to provide the basis for the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.【Method】The ecological footprint model was used to calculate the ecological footprint of water resources in nine provinces along the Yellow River, and the Gini coefficient and logarithm average Di index were used to analyze the ecological footprint of water resources.【Results】Result 1: The ecological footprint of water resources per capita in each province showed great spatial difference, but the contribution of all province to the ecological footprint of water resources was production water > domestic water > ecological water; Results 2: Except for Sichuan, Shaanxi and Qinghai, the ecology of water resources in other provinces is in an un bearable state; Results 3: The ecological footprint of water resources and GDP, population, total water resources, and arable land area in each province have significant differences; Results 4:The main factors that affect the ecological footprint of water resources are technological effect and economic effect, in which the ecological footprint of water resources is inversely proportional to the technological effect and directly proportional to the economic effect. 【Conclusion】The ecological situation of water resources in the provinces along the Yellow River is poor.
