Abstract: |
The objective of this study was to investigate the spatial distribution of soil nutrients and inter-effects with fruit-crop intercropping system in wind sandy land of Northwestern Liaoning Province. Organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium in the 0-60 cm soil profile, 0-300 cm horizontal distance of Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system and sweet potato were measured and analyzed. The results of this paper showed as follows: Soil organic matter of Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system in the 0-60 cm was 24.25 g/kg, which was in medium state. Total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium was 0.38, 0.22 and 30.76 g/kg, respectively, which were extremely deficient, very deficient and very rich. Hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium was 59.86, 7.05 and 66.41 mg/kg, respectively, which were very deficient, deficient and deficient. The variation degree of soil nutrient with Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system was moderate or strong. The maximum of soil organic matter in the 0-60cm soil layer with Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system was 27.57 g/kg, appearing at 300 cm, and the minimum was 21.96 g/kg, appearing at 25 cm. Total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium in different horizontal distances were 0.35-0.41, 0.17-0.26 and 26.20-35.25 g/kg, respectively, and hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium were 48.79-69.02, 2.84-9.22 and 49.65-95.35 mg/kg. The minimum of soil nutrient with Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system appeared at 0-25 cm, and the competition of soil nutrients in the region was fiercest. The content of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium decreased with the increase of soil depth, which decreased by 34.70%, 61.28%, 92.85%, 40.85% and 30.03%. The content of organic matter, total phosphorus, total potassium, hydrolyzable nitrogen of Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system was lower than that of sweet potato, which showed negative effect. The content of total nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium of Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system was higher than that of sweet potato. The demand of soil organic matter, total phosphorus and hydrolyzable nitrogen was larger in the Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system. Therefore, organic fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer should be added in the Malus pumila and Sweet potato intercropping system. |
