Study on Variation of Crop Coefficient of Winter Wheat in Huaibei Plain

Abstract:
【Objective】In order to study the temporal and spatial variation of crop coefficient of winter wheat in Huaibei Plain. 【Method】Using water balance method, eddy covariance method and Bouchet complementary relationship theory, combined with Penman-Montieth equation, the crop coefficient of winter wheat in Huaibei Plain from 1991 to 2018 was calculated. Using linear fitting method, Mann-Kendall trend test, Mann-Kendall jump test and moving t-test, combined with ArcGIS, the temporal and spatial variation of crop coefficients in the Huaibei Plain was studied and the influencing factors was analyzed. 【Results】The annual mean value of actual evapotranspiration during the whole growth period of winter wheat in Huaibei Plain is 429.3 mm; the reference crop evapotranspiration is 541.3 mm; and the crop coefficient is 0.79. The crop coefficient at different growth stages decreases first then increases and finally decreases. The crop coefficient gradually increases from the northwest corner to the surroundings during the whole growth period of the Huaibei Plain, and the high value center shows a northward shift. The crop coefficient is closely related to the climate factor. The effect of temperature is the most significant , followed by relative humidity and precipitation, and the effect of wind speed is the least significant. 【Conclusion】The calculated crop coefficient of winter wheat at different growth stages in the Huaibei Plain provided a theoretical basis for the calculation of irrigation water requirements. The study found that the crop coefficient has a significant upward trend, which is closely related to climate factors; so changes of crop water requirements need to be paid attention to.
