Abstract: |
As an important part of hydrologic process, the recharge, flow, and discharge of groundwater are evolving in different degrees under the influence of various human and natural factors. Due to the special importance of groundwater in maintaining social-economic development and ecosystem health, its related theoretical and practical research has always been a hotspot. However, many new problems have further aggravated the complexity of groundwater evolution and pushed groundwater research to the forefront of geoscience exploration. This paper reviews the new problems in the study of groundwater dynamic evolution, the new methods used in groundwater research, the research advances in groundwater dynamic evolution mechanism, and the latest trends of groundwater research in global hotspots, which may be referred by scholars in the field of groundwater research. |
