Abstract: |
【Objective】Bibliometrics could be used to reflect and predict the history and trends of scientific and technological development. The objective is to investigate the hotspots and trends of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in improving plant salt tolerance. The results could provide some data reference for related researchers to study on improving plant salt tolerance by AMF.【Method】The literatures related to the research were collected from Web of Science Database (WOS) and China Knowledge Network Database (CNKI) in all years before 2021 (including 2021). Combined with the database analysis with the search, the total number of publications, Top 10 countries, Top 10 institutions, Top 10 publications, Top 10 authors, and high-cited frequency articles were analyzed.【Result】A total of 1348 literatures on AMF improving plant salt tolerance were retrieved from 1372 institutions in 94 countries in WOS core collection, and 331 literatures were retrieved from CNKI. The number of articles published at home and abroad showed an upward trend, among which, the number of articles published in China was the largest. The research institutions on AMF in improving plant salt tolerance were mainly universities and research institutes. Mycorrhiza was the most published publication in WOS, and Acta Botanica Boreali-occidentalia sinica was the most published journal in CNKI. The current research direction of Chinese scholars in this field is mainly plant science.【Conclusion】The study of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi improving plant salt tolerance is still a hot research topic nowadays, and Chinese researchers have made great contributions in this field. At the same time, according to the trend of recent research papers, future researches on molecular biology and mycorrhizal signal transduction will be further deepened. |
