Study on environmental quality and prevention of soil salinization in Northern Shandong Plain (north of Yellow River)

Abstract:
In order to further study the soil salinization in the northern Shandong Plain (north of Yellow River), two - level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is adopted. A comprehensive evaluation index system is constructed, which belongs to three levels of soil environmental conditions, groundwater environmental conditions and physical geographical conditions, and includes eight indexes: proportion of saline soil area, degree of soil salinity, content of soil salinity, lithology of aeration zone, depth of groundwater level, degree of groundwater salinity, topography and landform and evaporation ratio. The environmental quality of salinized soil in northern Shandong Plain (north of Yellow River) was divided into five grades: excellent, good, medium, poor and even poor. Among them, the area of even poor salinized soil environmental quality area is 5277.49km2, the area of poor salinized soil environmental quality area is 6564.76 km2, the area of medium salinized soil environmental quality area is 4383.79 km2, and the area of good salinized soil environmental quality area is 5995.52 km2. The area with excellent environmental quality of salinized soil is 4919.29 km2. According to the different environmental quality conditions of salinization, the prevention and control of soil salinization was divided into 3 prevention and control areas and 8 subareas. The research results are of great significance to promote the healthy development of agricultural and rural economy and the construction of new socialist countryside in northern Shandong Plain.
