Abstract: |
In order to avoid the damage of gravity flow pipeline in hilly area due to the water hammer and ensure the safe operation of the pipeline. In view of the large positive and negative pressure of the water hammer phenomenon in the gravity flow pipeline with undulating terrain in the hilly area, taking the gravity flow pipeline project in Qianyang County, Shaanxi Province as an example, based on the basic calculation theory of the water hammer, the numerical simulation method combining the inclined straight pipe and the fitting equivalent short straight pipe is adopted, Respectively simulate the protective effect of each hump section that produces the maximum negative pressure after setting the inlet and exhaust valve and the protective effect of setting the over-pressure relief valve in front of the end control valve section of the maximum positive pressure, analyze the calculation and simulation results, and determine the water hammer protection measures and specific locations. The results show that the combination of inlet and exhaust valve and over-pressure relief valve to prevent water hammer effectively alleviates the occurrence of water hammer and ensures that the pressure in the pipeline is within the allowable range of design pressure. |
