Effects of Regulated Deficit Drip Irrigation Coupled with Fertilization on Yield and Quality of Mini Chinese Cabbage in Cold Irrigation Area

Abstract:
【Objective】The objectives of the study were to explore the coupling effects of water and fertilizer on the agronomic traits, yield and quality of mini Chinese cabbage and their relationships, and the optimal water and fertilizer combination mode was screened out, so as to provide a theoretical basis for water and fertilizer management of autumn mini Chinese cabbage with drip irrigation under mulch film in the cold-cool irrigation areas in Hexi corridor. 【Method】The test adopted the randomized block design of two-factors. In this paper, the mini Chinese cabbage planted in autumn were the research object, Gold Queen was used as a test material, the?effects?of?three?irrigation?levels combined?with?three fertilizer?levels on agronomic traits, yield and quality of mini Chinese cabbage under drip irrigation were studied. Principal component analysis was used to screen the key indexes, and a comprehensive evaluation of coupling effects of water and fertilizer was carried out with membership functions and weighted standard deviation coefficient method.【Result】The results showed that irrigation, fertilization, water and fertilizer coupling all affected the agronomic traits, yield and quality of mini Chinese cabbage in different degrees, and the effects of irrigation application stronger than fertilizer. The medium water and fertilizer treatment could increase the net weight per plant, net vegetable rate, yield, soluble solids and Vc content, increase heading compactness and reduce nitrate content. The amount of water and fertilizer was closely related to the agronomic traits, yield and quality of mini Chinese cabbage. The interaction of water and fertilizer was significantly positively correlated with the longitudinal diameter, transverse diameter, gross weight, net weight, net vegetable rate, yield and Vc content of leaf head, and significantly positively correlated with soluble solids, soluble sugar, soluble protein and nitrate content. Through principal component analysis, 12 indicators were converted into 3 independent comprehensive indicators, with a cumulative contribution rate of 91.87%. The comprehensive score of water and fertilizer coupling effect obtained by using the membership function of principal component combined with weight was the highest in H2F2 treatment, which was the optimal water and fertilizer combination in this experiment.【Conclusion】Considering the agronomic traits, yield and quality of mini Chinese cabbage, the lower limit of irrigation is 70% of field capacity, and the amount of fertilizer is N 330-P2O5195-K2O 450 kg·hm-2 was the best water and fertilizer management model for autumn mini Chinese cabbage in cold-cool irrigation areas of Hexi Corridor.
