Abstract:
Using reliable hydrodynamic water quality model to predict water quality is an effective measure to prevent water pollution. The commonly used depth average 2D shallow water model is difficult to accurately simulate the flow movement due to ignoring the influence of turbulence, which has an impact on water quality prediction. Therefore, this paper constructed a 2D hydrodynamic and water quality model considering turbulence effect. Taking the section of nanmuleng river flowing into Lancang River as the research object, the pollutant concentration distribution under different sewage inflow scenarios is analyzed. The results show that the 2D hydrodynamic and water quality model has good applicability in the study area, and the setting of sewage outlet has an adverse effect on water quality standards, which provides scientific basis for water environmental protection of Lancang River.
