Abstract:
Water hammer protection calculation is a key and difficult problem for long-distance water conveyance project. HYSIMCITY, the water hammer protection simulation software system for long-distance water conveyance project, was introduced in the aspects of calculation principle, development platform and software architecture. It was compared and analyzed the similar one at home and abroad, and its advancements were indicated, such as scope of application, simulation accuracy, and degree of visualization. Based on the simulation software, the water hammer protection analysis was carried out in the water conveyance project of Taizhou Southern Bay Area. It mainly included the steady flow condition review, calculation and analysis of rejecting load in pump condition without protective measures and with the air valve protection. Finally, the high simulation calculation accuracy and the good application of the software were verified. It can better meet the current water hammer numerical simulation calculation requirements of long-distance water conveyance engineering.
