Research and Design of Intelligent Water-saving Irrigation Control System Based on WSN

Abstract:
Waste of water resources caused by traditional agricultural irrigation methods such as flooding irrigation and furrow irrigation,an intelligent water-saving irrigation scheme based on ZigBee-WiFi dual protocol communication technology is proposed. Real-time acquisition of soil environment by soil moisture sensor and wireless transmission of control instructions. Design and implement C# based monitoring platform software, according to the best humidity required for crop growth stage, automatic or manual irrigation. System test shows that the system works well. The system is not only suitable for short-distance irrigation in greenhouse, but also suitable for large-area farmland irrigation. It has the characteristics of low cost, easy operation and strong applicability.
