Relationship between temporal and spatial variation of groundwater depth and soil conductivity in the Yellow River delta

Abstract:
Groundwater is an important part of the water cycle in the Yellow River delta, which plays an important role in drinking water, industrial water and irrigation. We used the kriging interpolation method of ArcGIS to draw the spatial distribution map of groundwater burial depth in the Yellow River delta during the normal period, the wet period and the dry period. The results show that the groundwater depth decreases in both sides of the Yellow River, and in the coastal areas the groundwater depth is shallow, and is affected by structural factors and random factors of different scales. With the help of SPSS 19.0 spatial analysis tools, the method of using bivariate analysis to study the groundwater depth and 30 cm, 100 cm soil electrical conductivity, the results show that the soil profile 30 cm, 100 cm, conductivity and groundwater depth has a certain relationship, embodied in groundwater buried depth, the smaller the value, the greater the soil electrical conductivity, and the influence of the conductivity of groundwater depth of 100 cm soil greater than 30 cm soil electrical conductivity. This research has certain significance for improving soil salinity and groundwater environment in the Yellow River delta region.
