Abstract:
In order to study the effect of humic acid on the water-holding properties of the clay soil in the Yellow River Delta, laboratory experiments under different humic acid application rates were carried out. The soil water content under different water suctions of each treatment was determined by pressure membrane method, and the soil water characteristic curve was analyzed by VG model. Determination of soil saturated hydraulic conductivity by KSAT saturated hydraulic conductivity meter and analysis of relationship between humic acid compounding amount and saturated hydraulic conductivity. The relationship between the amount of humic acid and evaporation was analyzed by the evaporation test of clay soil under different humic acid ratios. The results showed that the soil moisture characteristic curve changed significantly after the application of humic acid in the clay soil. Among them, the moisture characteristic curves of the clay soil under the application of humic acid were higher than T0. The soil water constant increased significantly, and the T2 and T5 doses increased most obviously. The saturated hydraulic conductivity increased significantly, and the increase of T2 and T5 was the most obvious, which was 36.96% and 56.92% higher than that of T0. The soil evaporation changed significantly. Combined with the accumulated evaporation in 6 hours and 12 hours, it was found that T2-T4 had a small evaporation, and the T4 evaporation was the smallest. In summary, humic acid can effectively improve soil water holding capacity, and the clay soil has the strongest water holding capacity under T2 treatment.
