Eutrophication evaluation of Pingzhai Reservoir based on fractal interpolation model

Abstract:
【Objective】Pingzhai Reservoir is located in the karst plateau of Guizhou, and is one of the important sources of irrigation and drinking water in Guizhou Province. Understanding the eutrophication status of the water body of Pingzhai Reservoir has important practical significance.【Method】collect water samples from November, 2018 (autumn), January 2019 (winter), May (spring) and July (summer), and select Chlorophyll a (Chla) , total phosphorus (TP), total nitrogen (TN), permanganate index (CODMn) and transparency (SD), using fractal dimension weights to establish an eutrophication evaluation interpolation model for Pingzhai Reservoir The eutrophication of water bodies was evaluated.【results】(1) The contents of TP and CODMn in Pingzhai Reservoir meets the Class II water quality standard, and the TN content exceeds the class V water quality standard, which is the main pollution factor. The contents of TN, CODMn and Chla were highest in summer, TP was highest in winter, and SD was lowest in spring. (2) in general, Pingzhai reservoir is in the state of medium eutrophication and eutrophication, All the monitoring sections have no oligotrophic and poor nutrition, indicating that the reservoir has a higher degree of eutrophication. (3) Pingzhai Reservoir has the highest degree of eutrophication in summer, followed by winter and spring, and lowest in autumn. The eutrophication degree of BS2 and HJ2 monitoring sections was the highest, and the monitoring sections of NY3, SG3 and PZ4 were the second, and the monitoring sections of ZW8 and SG1 were the lowest.【Conclusion】The degree of eutrophication of the Pingzhai Reservoir is high. TN is the main pollution factor. Controlling the input and enrichment of nitrogen is the top priority for preventing eutrophication of the Pingzhai Reservoir. The research results provide a basis for the ecological environmental protection of Pingzhai Reservoir.
