Abstract:
【Objective】The multi-stage composite mesh filter is a newly developed micro-irrigation filter. It integrates different meshes (50, 80, 120 mesh) in the same casing to increase its filtering effect. In order to study the filter performance, 【method】 carried out a clean water test to investigate the hydraulic performance of the filter. At the same time, a muddy water test was carried out, taking the flow rate and the sand content as factors. Among them, the flow rate was set at three levels of 18, 22, and 26 m3 / h, and the sand content rate was set at three levels of 0.07, 0.10, and 0.13 g / L. Loss, flow, turbidity and other indicators change law. 【Results】The results show that: in the clean water test, the filter pressure drop curve conforms to a power function relationship with a fitting coefficient of 0.9949; in the muddy water test, when the flow rate is constant, the filtration cycle and turbidity increase with the increase of the sand content Both decrease with time, and the head loss increases with time. When the sand content is constant, as the flow rate increases, the filtration cycle and turbidity decrease with time, and the head loss increases instead. 【Conclusion】The newly developed multi-stage composite mesh filter has the same hydraulic performance change law as the single mesh filter, and has a longer filtration cycle and higher filtration accuracy, which is suitable for micro irrigation systems.
