Analysis of frost heaving damage of irrigation ditch-lining contact surface in seasonal freezing zone

Abstract:
The frost heave failure of canal foundation soil and lining surface is always a difficult problem in the development of agricultural engineering in China.In recent years, there are still few researches on freezing damage of irrigation-lining contact surface, and there are still many deficiencies in various fields.In this paper, three types of frost damage of irrigation-lining contact surface under negative temperature are analyzed theoretically, and the basic characteristics and theoretical research status of the three types of damage are summarized.The properties of shear force, frost heave force and ice cementing force generated on the contact surface of irrigation canal and lining are analyzed.According to the development of numerical simulation of this kind of problem, the advantages and disadvantages of four kinds of numerical simulation software which are widely used in this field are analyzed.The shortcomings of previous studies and the aspects that need to be improved are summarized, and new ideas are put forward to provide reference and theoretical support for further research on frost swelling failure of irrigation ditch-lining contact surface.
