Abstract:
Abstract:【Objective】In order to fully tap the potential of water conservation, alleviate the shortage of water resources in the region and support the sustainable development of economy and society, it is necessary to clarify the concept of water-saving potential and improve the calculation formula.【Method】Based on the analysis of the concept of water-saving potential, this paper clarifies the connotation of water-saving potential, and then derives the calculation formula of water-saving potential by industry that is oriented to water-saving sources and considers water source replacement; on this basis, it relies on the planning of Henan Province, a case study of the planned annual water saving potential of Henan Province.【Result】The results show that the comprehensive water-saving potential of Henan Province is 1.07 billion m3 in 2025 and 1.67 billion m3 in 2035. The water-saving potential is considerable, reaching 4.6% and 7.1% of the current total annual water consumption. The water-saving potential by industry is in agriculture.【Conclusion】The calculation results are in line with the actual situation of Henan Province. The deduced formula has the characteristics of system, accuracy and depth, and has guiding significance for the region to promote the whole process, the whole production, and the whole people's systematic water saving work.
