Study on Optimal Measures of Biochar and Fertilization for Rice of Saline Soil in a Coastal Reclamation Region Based on ORYZA_V3 Model |

【Objective】To study the effects of biochar and fertilizer management on rice yield in saline soil, a pit cultivation experiment was carried out in a coastal reclamation region. 【Method】The ORYZA_V3 crop growth model was calibrated and validated according to the pit cultivation test data, the validated model was used to quantitatively evaluate the impact of 7 different nitrogen fertilizer scenarios on rice yield. 【Result】The ORYZA_V3 model had the ability to simulate rice yield in saline soil under different fertilization management measures. Under the low fertilization scenario, the application of biochar had a significant effect on rice yield, and the yield increase was greater. However, under the high fertilization scenario (nitrogen fertilization exceeded 235kg/hm2), the nutrient content in the soil was saturated, and the application of biochar had no significant effect on yield improvement. With the addition of 2% biochar and 5% biochar, the yield almost reached the peak at 235kg/hm2 and 141kg/hm2 nitrogen application levels, and the subsequent increase in nitrogen fertilizer had no significant effect on the yield. Under low fertilization scenario, adding 5% biochar had the greatest effect on rice yield.【Conclusion】 Under high fertilization scenario, the combined application cost of 2% biochar and nitrogen fertilizer was relatively low, and the rice yield was relatively high. The research results of this paper provided a practical reference for the application of biochar and fertilization management in farmland along a coastal reclamation region. |
