Abstract:
【Objective】In order to explore the effects of biogas slurry irrigation on soil aggregation structure in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain, biogas slurry alone (BS), chemical fertilizer alone (CF), biogas slurry combined with chemical fertilizer (BS+CF) and blank control (CK) were conducted according to the equal nitrogen principle in fluvo-aquic soil.【Method】Aggregate fractions of different sizes were sieved and measured from topsoil and several aggregate stability indexes were calculated through dry and wet sieving method.【Result】These results showed that biogas slurry irrigation influenced aggregates particle compositions. Compared with the CK, all fertilization treatments increased mass proportions of >0.25 mm mechanical-stable aggregate (MR0.25) and significantly increased >0.25 mm water-stable aggregate (WR0.25) by 2.14%~3.17% and 56.44%~164.20%. Values of mechanical- stable and water-stable aggregate skewness constant (Cs) and kurtosis constant (CE) were also affected by fertilization treatments, which promoted aggregate stability by decreasing slaking by wet sieving and sustaining relatively balanced distribution, especially in the treatment of BS+CF. Meanwhile, biogas slurry irrigation significantly reduced the destruction rate of soil aggregates (PAD) and significantly increased water-stable aggregates stability. Lowest in PAD, while water-stable aggregate mean weight diameter (MWD) and geometric average diameter (GMD) gained the largest, as well as the least fractal dimension (wD) acquired in the treatment of BS+CF.【Conclusion】This fertilization pattern was recommended to improve soil structure and aggregate stability in this region.
