Abstract:
【Objective】This paper analyzed the spatial changes of groundwater quality and influencing factors in the irrigation area of Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, and provided a basis for the development and utilization of groundwater resources and pollution prevention in the irrigation area.【Method】Based on 1292 sets of groundwater quality testing data, the groundwater chemical composition characteristics and groundwater chemistry types were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis method and Piper trilinear diagram method. The water quality index method (WQI), USSL diagram and Wilcox diagram were used to evaluate the drinking groundwater quality and irrigation groundwater quality in the irrigation area. Kriging interpolation, factor analysis and ion ratio methods were used to analyze the spatial variation of groundwater quality in the irrigation area and its influencing factors.【Result】The groundwater quality of the gravelly sloped plain in front of the mountain was better than that of the fine soil plain in the middle and lower reaches. The soluble salt concentration of groundwater in the irrigation area was too high, which would aggravate soil salinization. The order of groundwater quality in irrigation areas was as follows: single structure unconfined groundwater>confined groundwater>unconfined groundwater in confined area.【Conclusion】The result of factor analysis showed that the groundwater quality of the irrigation area was affected by the combined effects of evaporation-concentration and mineral dissolution, the redox environment of the original geology, and human activities. In addition, it was also affected by the type of aquifer, groundwater recharge, runoff and discharge conditions, and cation exchange.
