Abstract:
Years of sediment dredging in the settling basin in the irrigation area of the Lower Yellow River causes the problem of ecologically fragile and strong ecological sensitivity in the surrounding environment. We sample spatially on the soil in the spoil area of sedimentation basin in Xiaokaihe Yellow River irrigation area in order to analyze the particle distribution of sediment. The statistical analysis of soil with different particle sizes find that the soil with particle size greater than 0.25 mm has a strong degree of variation, and the soil variation intensity with particle size within 0.005 ~ 0.05 mm gradually decreases with the increase of particle size; The fitting characteristics of each grade of particles show that the sediment with particle size less than 0.025mm shows an upward trend with the increase of spatial distance. In recent years, the Xiaokai river irrigation area has implemented ecological restoration of the settling basin for the purpose of the ecological restoration project of the sand basin. Adopted to construct the spoil area grid protection forest, the abandoned spoil area water and soil conservation forest, the wetland ecological zone in the settling basin, biodiversity has increased, good ecological indicators have been improved, the soil texture is improved. The research results provide for the management and ecological restoration of the sedimentation basin in the irrigation area of the lower Yellow River. The new ideas provide a useful reference for the management of abandoned sand areas in the Yellow River irrigation area and the promotion of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
