Abstract:
【Objective】In order to study the regional surface water quality during the construction period of the Second Phase Project of Zhaokou Yellow River Irrigation District.【Method】the Guo River and Huiji River sections in the irrigation area were analyzed in November 2020 and January, March, and May 2021, respectively. The 21 monitoring points were investigated and analyzed, and three methods of single factor evaluation method, comprehensive pollution index method and comprehensive water quality labeling index method were combined to comprehensively evaluate the surface water quality.【Result】The TN and TP in the surface water of the irrigation exceeded the standard seriously and were the two most important pollutants, resulting in poor evaluation results of the single-factor evaluation method. From November to March, the water quality of Grade V and inferior to Grade V accounted for more than 95%, and only in May the water quality reached Grade IV as a whole; the evaluation results of the comprehensive pollution index method showed that from November to May, the water quality changed from mild pollution to clean state, and there is a certain spatial distribution law; in the evaluation results of the comprehensive water quality labeling index method, the water quality in the four months generally meets the Grade IV water quality standard.【Conclusion】At present, the quality of surface water in the Second Phase Project of Zhaokou Yellow River Irrigation District is not optimistic, especially in the dry season, and the total nitrogen and total phosphorus are the main pollution indicators. Carrying out agricultural non-point source pollution control is an important way to improve the quality of surface water in irrigation areas.
