Abstract:
【Objective】To explore the response of cotton under film drip irrigation to water and salinity stress in southern Xinjiang and further clarify its effective mechanism.【Method】Field experiments were carried out at the irrigation test station of the first division of Xinjiang alar Corps. The experiment set up 2 water treatments (W1: 22.5 mm, W2: 45 mm) and 3 salt treatments (S1:0.2 %, S2:0.4 %, S3:0.6 %), a total of 6 treatments.【Result】Water played a leading role in the formation of cotton final yield under water and salt stress, cotton yield was the highest with S1W2 treatment, which was 7502.85 kg/hm2. Water and salt had a very significant effect on cotton growth index and aboveground dry matter accumulation, and the dry matter accumulation of cotton at boll opening stage was most affected by water and salt stress, water stress and salt stress reduced the dry matter mass of cotton by 52.39% and 48.89% respectively.【Conclusion】Water and salt have a very significant impact on cotton growth index and aboveground dry matter accumulation. Irrigation volume plays a leading role in cotton yield composition. Although salt can inhibit cotton dry matter accumulation in different degrees, it can significantly improve cotton harvest index. Therefore, W1 irrigation volume can be used in heavy saline alkali land areas where irrigation volume cannot be guaranteed, and it is not recommended to reduce irrigation volume in light to medium saline alkali land.
