Effects of different forms of nitrogen fertilizer combined with nitrogen-fixing bacteria on soil enzyme activity and nitrogen forms in reclaimed soil

Abstract:
【Objective】 In order to explore whether nitrogen-fixing bacteria combined application with different forms of nitrogen fertilizer can play a greater efficiency in reclaimed soil and the optimum fertilization method for land reclamation in mining area,【Method】 selected reclaimed 1a soil from coal mining subsidence area as the research object, a pot experiment was conducted to analyze the effects of different forms of nitrogen fertilizer combined with nitrogen-fixing bacteria on soil microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen, enzyme activity, total nitrogen, total dissolved nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen.【Result】 It showed that ammonium and nitrate nitrogen fertilizer combined with nitrogen-fixing bacteria could increase the contents of soil microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen, total dissolved nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen in reclaimed soil. Compared with the treatment of nitrate and ammonium nitrogen fertilizer, the activities of catalase, sucrase, protease and urease notably increased by 4.96%, 17.85%, 12.53% and 6.12% respectively. Correlation analysis indicated that there was a close relationship between soil nutrients, enzyme activity and soil microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen, which can be used to evaluate the fertility of reclaimed soil. The activity of sucrase, protease and urease were extremely significantly positive correlated with soil total nitrogen, total dissolved nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen (P < 0.01). The soil enzyme activity above was significantly positive correlated with nitrate nitrogen (P < 0.05). And there was also a significantly positive correlation between soil microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen and total dissolved nitrogen (P < 0.05). Principal component analysis further showed that the quality of reclaimed soil of different fertilized treatments was highest in the treatment of ammonium nitrogen fertilizer combined with nitrogen-fixing bacteria.【Conclusion】 The application of nitrate and ammonium nitrogen fertilizer combined with nitrogen-fixing bacteria was more beneficial to increase soil microbial characteristics and nitrogen content, as a reasonable fertilizer management way to improve the ecological environment of reclaimed soil.
