Abstract:【Objective】To explore the influence law of emitter type and structure on emitter clogging characteristics under the condition of drip irrigation with water from the Yellow River, and to provide scientific basis for emitter selection of drip irrigation system in the irrigation area of the Yellow River. 【Method】Six labyrinth channel emitters with different inlet structures and different types were selected for irrigation experiments, and the flow variation laws and clogging conditions of the six emitters were compared and analyzed. 【Result】Emitter type and emitter inlet structure have a significant impact on emitter clogging (P<0.05).Among E1~E6 emitters, the compensated cylindrical emitter (E4) without boss structure has the fastest flow decline rate and the most serious emitter clogging degree, while the non-compensated cylindrical emitter (E6) with boss structure has the slowest flow decline rate and the lightest emitter clogging degree. The emitter inlet boss structure can effectively slow down the deposition of sediment particles at the inlet of the channel, reduce flow decline rate of emitter, reduce the clogging rate of emitter, and improve the anti-clogging performance of emitter. Compared with E5 emitter with the best anti-clogging performance in the emitter without boss structure, the relative flow of E6 emitter with boss structure is increased by 14.81%, and the clogging rate is reduced by 46.63%. 【Conclusion】The non-compensated cylindrical emitter with intake boss structure is selected for drip irrigation with water from the Yellow River.
