Abstract:
【Objective】 In order to investigate the effect of continuous cropping in pressed sand on soil metabolites and to reveal the mechanism of soil degradation in pressed sandland. 【Methods】 In this study, the soil of pressed sand melon with different planting years in Ningxia was taken as the research object, and the soil without pressed sand melon was used as the control group (V) to analyze metabolites and metabolic pathways in the soil of pressed sand melon continuously planted with 3a(W), 7a(X), 15a(Y) and 37a(Z). 【Results】 A total of 559 different metabolites were detected in V vs W group, of which 428 were up-regulated and 131 were down-regulated, 293 different metabolites were detected in V vs X group, of which 215 were up-regulated and 78 were down-regulated, 730 different metabolites were detected in V vs Y group, of which 575 were up-regulated and 155 were down-regulated, and 666 different metabolites were detected in V vs Z group, of which 479 were up-regulated and 187 were down-regulated. With the increase of planting years, the content of carbohydrates decreased significantly, and the content of organic acids increased, which changed the soil environment and affected the growth and development of plants. In addition, the KEGG metabolic pathway shows that the metabolic activity in the soil decreases with the increase of planting years, especially the metabolism of amino acids, which directly affects the normal physiological activities of plants. 【Conclusion】 With the increase of planting life in pressed sand, the accumulation of organic acids in the soil increases, and the content of carbohydrates decreases, which leads to soil degradation and seriously affects the growth of crops.
