Abstract:
【Objective】 To investigate the changes of photosynthetic fluorescence parameters of forage oats under different nitrogen levels, to clarify the mechanism of the effect of nitrogen fertilization on the photosynthetic capacity of forage oats, and to propose the appropriate amount of nitrogen application. 【Method】 In this study, six nitrogen levels of 0, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350 kg/hm2 were measured at the gestation, tasseling and filling stages in the northern foothills of the Yinshan Mountains in Inner Mongolia, using forage oats as the material. The variation patterns of Actual photochemical quantum yield (Y(II)) and Maximal photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) at different nitrogen levels. 【Results】 With the increase of nitrogen, the photosynthetic fluorescence parameters Y(II), Fv/Fm and qP values of forage oats showed a pattern of increasing and then decreasing; NPQ values showed a trend of decreasing and then increasing, and NPQ values at N250 treatment were significantly lower than those of other treatments (P < 0.05). With the delay of fertility, Y(II) and Fv/Fm values did not change significantly, while qP and NPQ values increased gradually. 【Conclusion】 The moderate increase of nitrogen amount helps to maintain the stability of PSII reaction center system and improve photosynthetic capacity of forage oats. Therefore, the appropriate amount of nitrogen fertilizer for growing forage oats in the northern foothills of the Yin Mountains is 250 kg/hm2.
