Analysis of static spray characteristics of variable spray system of centrifugal nozzle

Abstract:
【Objective】To investigate the static spray characteristics of variable centrifugal nozzle spray system. 【Method】A centrifugal nozzle variable spray test system was constructed by using diaphragm pump, high-precision turbine flowmeter, solenoid valve, centrifugal nozzle, etc., and its static spray characteristics were studied. Under the conditions of nozzle flow rate of 1.5 L/min and rotating speed of 8000, 9000, 10000, 11000, 12000 and 13000 r/min, droplet particle size and droplet deposition distribution were measured by water-sensitive paper and droplet collection device respectively. 【Results】With the increase of centrifugal nozzle speed, the particle size of droplets decreased. The deposition amount of fog droplets in the 0.5 m ring area decreased and then increased in two times, and the deposition amount increased in the second time was more than that in the first time. With the increase of the centrifugal nozzle speed, the peak value on the left side of the distribution center of droplet deposition decreased, and the peak value on the left side moved towards the droplet distribution center. The peak value on the right side is basically unchanged, and the peak value on the right side moves away from the droplet distribution center. 【Conclusion】The rotating speed of centrifugal nozzle has significant influence on droplet size and droplet deposition distribution. Reasonable control of droplet size and improvement of the uniformity of droplet deposition distribution are the key to improve pesticide utilization rate and reduce environmental pollution.
