Abstract:
【Objective】Study the impact of land reclamation on soil fertility in mine area. 【Method】3 alfalfa lands in Antaibao Opencast Coal Mine Dump reclaimed for 3 years, 8 years and 20 years were selected as research objects in this study, meanwhile the soil under nature restoration and original landform plots were collected as control soils. The relationship between soil nutrients and enzyme activities in 0~10, 10~20, 20~30 cm and 30~40 cm soil layers in alfalfa field were analyzed. 【Result】 The results showed that the mass fraction of organic matter, total nitrogen and alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen and the activities of invertase, urease and alkaline phosphatase increased with increase of reclamation years, while total phosphorus tended to decrease. The change trend of available phosphorus and the activity of catalase were irregular with increasing reclamation years. Except for the available phosphorus in alfalfa fields reclaimed 3 years, the mass fraction of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus and enzyme activities were decreased with the increase of soil depth. What’s more, the mass fraction of soil nutrients in 0~20 cm was significantly higher than that in the bottom layer. A significant positive correlation was found between soil urease, invertase, alkaline phosphatase and organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and available nitrogen, but no significant correlation between catalase and soil nutrient. So soil enzyme activity level could reflect the strength of soil nutrient transformation. 【Conclusion】 It can be indicated that reclamation of mining area soil with alfalfa cultivation can improve the soil nutrients and the soil enzyme activities, which has important significance for the restoration of soil fertility.
