Abstract:
The water quality of the Yellow River in Ningxia section is of great importance for drinking water safety and pollution abatement in the Yellow River basin. 【Objective】 Understand the water quality of the Yellow River in Ningxia section. 【Method】 The water quality monitoring data in February, April, June, August, October and December in 2012 and 2013 were collected from Xiaheyan section, Yinggugonglu section and Taoledukou section. Since there was a great defect of uncertainty exists in Bias models, the Bias model of water quality based on entropy weight was used, five factors (DO, CODMn, NH4+-N, BOD5 and COD) were selected to evaluate the water quality of the Yellow River in Ningxia section and study the temporal and spatial variation of the water quality. 【Result】 The results showed that COD and NH4+-N were the main pollutants of the water quality; the water quality was generally good and was mainly Grade II or III; the water quality was the best in summer, followed by spring and autumn, and the worst was in winter; and the water quality gradually deteriorated from upstream to downstream in Ningxia section.【Conclusion】 The evaluation results of Bayesian model based on entropy weight are reasonable and reliabie.
