Abstract: |
【Objective】 Based on the soil suction, a new type of soil moisture supply device, in which crops play the active role, was developed and its performance need to be clear. 【Method】 In this paper, the soil-tank test with different control pressure levels was set up, and the control negative pressure and soil wetting front migration were measured. 【Result】 ①The device could control the soil pressure in the vicinity of the target value by adjusting the number of negative pressure control device and the water column height in the thick water pipe. The negative pressure amplitude was very small within the control pressure of -15 kPa. ②Supplying water with this device, the lateral movement of soil moisture was stronger than that of vertical migration, but the soil wetting range decreased with the increase of the number of negative pressure control devices. The lateral wetting distance of soil had a good power function to irrigation duration, and with the increase of the number of negative pressure control device, the lateral migration speed of soil moisture slowed down. 【Conclusion】 The device can achieve continuous acquisition of moisture automatically, and may be expected to be used for crop irrigation. |
