Abstract:
【Objective】This paper presents a numerical study on the hydraulic performance of subsurface inlay drip emitter. 【Method】 We used the RNG k-? turbulence model and simulated detailed 3D fluid flow in the drip emitters under different working pressure conditions. 【Result】The numerically simulated fluid flow in the channel was comparable to measurement, with errors less than 8.87%. The inlet grouting part of the drip irrigation emitter and the M-type shoulder filter outlet part have no significant effect on the flow rate of the drip irrigation emitter. Export without control structure, the water flow forms a vortex centered on the water outlet hole, which is not conducive to water outflow and is easy to block. The outlet of the M-type shoulder filter mechanism concentrates the water flow near the water outlet hole, which is favorable for water outflow and improves the anti-clogging performance.
