Research and application of water-saving irrigation models for agriculture in mountainous areas: Taking Mengyin County, Shandong Province as an example

Abstract:
The development of water-saving irrigation in mountainous areas is related to food security and the quality and quantity of crops. It has attracted extensive attention from society. To strengthen the construction of agricultural water conservancy, solve the shortage of water resources, improve the quality of cultivated land, and ensure food security, this paper analyzed the water resource conditions, crop planting characteristics, and farmland types. Based on the principles of economy, rationality, and convenience, it obtainsed some water-saving irrigation modes suitable for mountainous areas, providing a reference for the high-quality development of farmland irrigation in mountainous areas.
