Abstract:
【Objective】Find a suitable model for water balance in Kashi river basin. 【Method】Based on the data of hydro-meteorological station and Climate Forecast System Reanalysis (CFSR) during the period from 1990 to 2000, VIC model with water balance and energy balance was built under the daily scale and monthly scale. Process of runoff was simulated by different situations, and the differences of distribution of hydrological parameters under two modes were analyzed in the second section. 【Result】Results showed that the effect of runoff simulation under the energy mode was better than that under the water mode in daily and monthly scale. The judgments of rainfall and snowfall were neglected by water balance under the consideration of the real climate condition, and the impacts of cryosphere were ignored by water balance under the consideration of geography in this study area. Both of them were the main reasons why water balance cannot figure out the spatial characters and the spatial differences among the different hydrological parameter reasonably. 【Conclusion】In summary, the runoff and the distribution of hydrological parameters could be simulated better by VIC model with energy balance mode.
