【Objective】Clarifying the relationship between the renewal and water-saving renovation projects of medium-sized irrigation districts under construction in Guizhou Province and the synergistic promotion of high-standard farmland construction, recommendations and countermeasures to promote synergies between the two.【Method】Based on the implementation of the renewal and water saving improvement project for 17 medium-sized irrigation districts under construction in 2023, statistical implementation of the coverage of high-standard farmland area in irrigation areas, analyzed the overlap between irrigation districts and high-standard farmland, and derived optimized solutions and countermeasures for both in the implementation process.【Result】The province's 17 medium-sized irrigation projects under construction, involving 8 cities (states) 17 counties and districts, with a total investment of 360 million yuan and a total designed irrigated area of 494 000 acres, and as of 2023, the area of built high-standard farmland in the irrigation area was 421 900 acres, with a degree of overlap of 85.48%.【Conclusion】According to the current irrigation areas under construction and the construction of high-standard farmland to promote the requirements of synergy, it was recommended that water and agricultural and rural departments at all levels to further improve the political position, effectively implemented the main responsibility for the work, to ensure that the construction of high-standard farmland will be given priority to arrange for the implementation of the scope of the medium-sized irrigation areas to achieve the simultaneous transformation of the water source, water transmission, water use link project, synergistically promoted the implementation of the modernization and renovation of medium-sized and large-sized irrigation areas and the construction of high-standard farmland. |
